Twilight on the Tavern Lawn presents Beaucoup Blue on July 13

PUTNEY — Twilight Music continues its 12th annual Twilight on the Tavern Lawn series of folk, world beat, rock, jazz, zydeco, Celtic, swing, blues and bluegrass summer concerts on Sunday, July 13, with Philadelphia-based Americana and acoustic blues duo Beaucoup Blue.

This father and son team of David and Adrian Mowry features soulful voices and acoustic slide guitar virtuosity. From blues to bluegrass, their traditional and contemporary styles mesh into an innovative and authentic sound.

Winner of Billboard's grand prize for world songwriting and the Tellurlide Blues & Brews Acoustic Competition, Beaucoup Blue also is a fixture on AMA's Top 40 for Americana, roots, and folk.

Twilight on the Tavern Lawn's seven-concert series continues every other Sunday through Aug. 24. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. downtown on the Putney Tavern lawn. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and kick back. In the event of rain, the show moves to Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill Rd.

Next in the series: an evening of high-energy accordion- and guitar-driven Louisiana dance music by Planet Zydeco on Sunday, July 27.
