From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., KidsPLAYce is holding Toddler and Preschool Free Play. For more information call 802-254-5212.

From 1 to 4 p.m., folks can enjoy sleigh and hay rides at Fairwinds Farm on Upper Dummerston Road (no dogs please). Adults are $8 and children up to 12 years are $4.

The children's program this year features Sandglass Theater's presentation of Puncshi!, a live puppet show for ages 0-6, from 4 to 5 p.m., at the Brattleboro Retreat's Educational Conference Center. Just bring a nonperishable food item for Project Feed the Thousands as admission.

Again this year, organizers are joining Brattleboro Bowl to present a day and evening of bowling. Children's bowling runs from 2 to 4 p.m. For $8 per bowler, you get shoes, popcorn, and cider.

All-Ages Bowling begins at 5 p.m. and is $50 per lane. The 7:30 p.m. session is $55 per lane. Both time slots include two hours of bowling, shoes, pizza, soda, party favors, music, and a light show. Call soon to reserve your lane: 802-257-1177.

There will be free skating at Living Memorial Park from 6 to 9 p.m.; skate rentals are available for $3. There will be door prizes and great hot chocolate.

Back by popular demand, there will be a Teen Rock Bands Concert at the Boys & Girls Club featuring local youth bands. The concert is $5 for students and $10 for adults. The Teen Dance Party starts at 9 p.m. this year and runs until 12:30 a.m. It's free, with games, food, and countdown frenzy.
