Featured on The Boston Globe's 2019 Must-see List, Antenna Cloud Farm says it is “pleased to welcome back audiences and artists alike for another season full of astounding, world-class, and genre-defying musical performances.”
Located on a 100-acre hilltop former dairy farm, Antenna Cloud will present six different artists over the course of eight concerts, including two special outdoor events - timed to the setting sun over the hills of Franklin County - that are free to kids 18 and under.
According to a news release, Antenna Cloud's artists will also give outreach workshops and performances around western Massachusetts. New this year at Antenna Cloud is an ADA-accessible indoor venue.
Their season opens with Project Trio and beatboxing flutist Greg Pattillo - “virtuosic performers with rock-star energy and over 85 million views on Youtube.”
They will also welcome Cristina Pato, master of the gaita - bagpipes from Galicia, Spain; pop singer/songwriter Mirah; contemporary classical group NOW Ensemble; electric violinist, composer, and singer MazzMuse (as seen on the Today show); violin virtuoso Jen Curtis with members of the Melodic Refuge Orchestra; and composers from the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music.
Founded by violinist/composer Michi Wiancko and composer Judd Greenstein, Antenna Cloud Farm is funded by community donations and local cultural council grants and offers reduced-price tickets to those unable to pay full price.
