The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department recently received a $50,000 grant from the Withington Fund of the Vermont Community Foundation for the completion of work at West River Park. The recreation area and ball fields, located on Route 30 on the bank of West River, opened in 2013. It was built with private funds.
