WESTMINSTER WEST-I have known Rep. Michelle Bos-Lun for over 20 years as a teacher and youth program leader and since 2021 as my state representative.
Michelle gets up at 5 a.m. every day and gets to work on our behalf. She's motivated by her passion and capacity to positively impact Vermont and the communities she serves (Westminster, Rockingham, and Brookline).
She is boldly addressing the core challenges of our time, from affordable housing to climate change. If you agree we are undergoing an unprecedented period of significant turmoil, you understand the need to elect to the statehouse individuals who have the courage and agency to work across the aisle to pass thoughtful, nuanced, solution-based policies at this critical moment. Michelle Bos-Lun meets my criteria for this high standard.
Combating climate change with strategic decarbonization planning for an energy transition is important to me. With a 100% approval in her environmental report card rating from VPIRG, and with an endorsement from Vermont Conservation Voters and Sierra Club, Michelle Bos-Lun embodies the character needed to invigorate the Vermont transition to clean, renewable energy.
As I've followed her work and voting record of the past two terms, I've seen that she has a complex understanding of the benefits of renewable energy, including affordability, predictability, and strengthening of Vermont's electric grid in response to the ever-increasing threats of climate change.
She understands the path to 100% renewable energy is imperative for the health of our Vermont people and planet, is an opportunity for good jobs, and will require innovative thinking and bipartisan collaborations.
If you know Michelle, she is a person with integrity, outstanding organizational skills, and an impressive work ethic. We are fortunate to have a committed and passionate representative that is motivated to use her power for the good of our community.
