ROCKINGHAM-The Southern Vermont Flannel Festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18–19, at Rockingham Hill Farm, 34 Meetinghouse Rd.
This two-day celebration invites locals and visitors alike to "slow down and savor the season." Set against sweeping hilltop views, the festival offers live bluegrass and folk music, farm-fresh food and drink, artisan vendors, family activities, and "all the cozy traditions that make fall in Vermont unforgettable," organizers wrote in a news release.
Festival-goers can stretch out on a picnic blanket beneath open skies, listen to music mingling with the rustle of autumn leaves, and sip local cider or craft brews. The festival promises sights, sounds, and flavors "stitched together like your favorite flannel shirt," organizers said.
Over 70 regional craft vendors, makers, food trucks, and live music contribute to the experience.
The festival will be open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $10 ($1 off if wearing flannel); children 12 and under get in free.
