BRATTLEBORO-Families are invited to embark on outdoor explorations with "Hike & Seek: Family Adventures," a series of free, guided excursions designed to inspire fun and learning in nature.
Presented by the Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center (BEEC) and The Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro (BGCB), these adventures will take place on various Saturdays through June, with upcoming dates this year set for Oct. 18, Nov. 1 and 15, and Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon (the Nov. 15 event takes place 4 to 6 p.m.).
Hike & Seek: Family Adventures offers an opportunity for families to connect with nature while enjoying the company of naturalists and educators from the two sponsoring organizations. Each outing is intended to be educational and entertaining, focusing on themes to make every adventure unique.
The program is tailored for children ages 5–11 and their caregivers, though participants of all ages are welcome to join. In addition to exploring nature, participants will learn about basic trail safety and enjoy a provided snack. Transportation and some outdoor gear are available upon request.
