Watercolor Society displays work

WEST BRATTLEBORO-Eighteen artists from the Connecticut River Chapter of Vermont Watercolor Society are exhibiting their work at All Souls Church, 29 South St., through Nov. 30. The public is invited to a reception Friday, Nov. 21, from 3 to 6 p.m.

With more than 240 members, the Vermont Watercolor Society is dedicated to promoting the awareness and appreciation of watercolor to its membership at all levels of ability and to the larger community by providing opportunities and venues for participation, education, fellowship, and exhibitions, according to their website.

The Connecticut River Chapter comprises more than 80 artists from regions of Vermont and New Hampshire that surround the southern segment of the Connecticut River. This exhibit features more than 30 original watercolors from 18 artists.

Beverages and light refreshments will be served. The reception is free and open to all. The exhibit is open to view on Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
