Evans-Frantz and Mayo: a more affordable and generative community

BRATTLEBORO-I am in strong support of Isaac Evans-Frantz and Nell Mayo for one-year Selectboard seats. I believe both of them will contribute to a more affordable and generative community.

As a parent of two students who are in the Windham Southeast Supervisory Union, a licensed clinical social worker, a former high school teacher, and an 18-year resident of Brattleboro, I value Isaac's commitment to co-creating a town that works for all of us.

I have been extremely impressed with his insights, questions, and voting record. His empathy for unhoused people, his support of human services funding as voters asked for, and his commitment to listening and civil discourse are invaluable assets.

I also believe that Nell Mayo will be an incredible addition to the board. She also shares aligned values and will add keen insights.

Nell has been on the Finance Committee this year and has demonstrated a strong understanding of town business through regular participation in Selectboard meetings.

Together, Isaac and Nell demonstrate a deep understanding of how we'll make it through these challenging times only by working together, and I believe their tangible policy recommendations will help our town thrive.
