Paul Beebe is running for a two-year seat on the Guilford Selectboard.
GUILFORD-I've called Guilford home since 1993. My wife, Kerri, has lived here most of her life, and when we got married, we chose to stay in Guilford.
Our two children live in Guilford, and my in-laws, my sister-in-law and her family, and extended family are also part of this community.
I have worked in state law enforcement for 22 years. Like many in our town, I understand what it's like to balance work, family, and everyday responsibilities.
Not everyone has the time or flexibility to attend meetings or serve on committees, but everyone deserves clear information and a meaningful voice.
Over the years, I've tried to give back where I can by serving on the Brattleboro Union High School Alumni Committee for 10 years, the Vermont State Employee Association bargaining committee, the Algiers Fire District #1 Prudential Committee, as a member of the Brattleboro Elks, volunteering on my kids' sports teams, and supporting fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I'm running for the Selectboard because I care about Guilford and the people who live here. I strongly believe in fiscal responsibility and thoughtful budgeting to ensure taxpayer dollars are used wisely.
Additionally, I want to make our town's infrastructure a top priority, so Guilford remains safe, functional, and well-maintained for years to come.
I believe local government works best when it's open, transparent, and accessible - when information is easy to find and decisions are clearly explained.
I want to help rebuild trust, encourage respectful conversation, and make sure everyone has a voice in shaping Guilford's future.
