• Forum A: Relationships and Conversations, Politics in Small-Town America. “How to listen deeply and talk about what matters — relational organizing can restore democracy — and we already know how to do it. Let’s get out of our own way and remember how to not just persuade but learn and listen.” Latchis Theatre, 50 Main St., Brattleboro (Theater 4,front, left). Speaker: State Rep. Emilie Kornheiser, D-Brattleboro.
• Forum B: Is Brattleboro Ready for ICE? “What power does our municipal government have in addressing concerns or conflicts with regard to federal law enforcement? What are the lessons of Minneapolis? How can ICE be held accountable when federal agencies don’t want to investigate?” New England Youth Theatre, 100 Flat St., Brattleboro. Speakers: Brattleboro Selectboard Chair Oscar Heller and David Gartenstein, retired deputy state’s attorney.
• Forum C: Protecting Elections, Saving Democracy. “At this point, what is crucial in protecting elections from manipulation and interference? What is the SAVE Act and what would its effects be on voting? Under the Constitution, how are elections run?” Latchis Theatre, 50 Main St., Brattleboro (Theater 2, upstairs). Speakers: state Sen. Nader Hashim, D-Windham, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee; Vermont Assistant Auditor Tim Ashe.
• Forum D: Neighborhood Organizing and Mutual Aid. “Steps to take now to be ready for ICE. How to build an organization based on neighborhoods and person-to-person contact.” Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main St., Brattleboro (parlor). Speakers: Heather Ashcraft, Brattleboro Indivisible; Jen Jacobs, Brattleboro Area Mutual Aid.
• Forum E: Young People and Political Power. “How do we enlist and empower newer and younger people to become engaged in political action? How do we organize to win elections?
