BELLOWS FALLS-The Saxtons River Art Guild will offer a watercolor workshop, “Autumn on the River,” Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the United Church of Bellows Falls, 8 School St.
Dummerston artist Trish Murtha will lead the workshop, which “is suitable for artists in any media and at any level,” according to a news release.
Murtha’s work celebrates the seasonal cycles and is “filled with vivid color, strong values, and shapes that capture textured meadows, mountains, and seascapes,” according to her website (trishmurthadesigns.com). Murtha “loves the meditative play of watercolor and fluid media,” the site says.
The workshop is $70 for members of the Saxtons River Art Guild and $95 for nonmembers. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available, but participants should bring lunch. To register for the workshop, email ann.newsmith@gmail.com or text 802-257-4710.
