Voices

Quiet, normal, and uplifting

The content was political; the delivery, from the heart. It was as though Barack Obama entered each and every living room to say, in a quiet and normal voice, “Same-sex couples should be able to marry.” No trumpet sounding here.

Ten days later, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People voted 66-2 in agreement with President Obama's sentiment.

His heart into our hearts, the uplift, catches the current of the wind, winging out into the world.
