BRATTLEBORO-Last year I voted to elect Isaac Evans-Frantz for Selectboard because his values and vision aligned with mine. This year I offer my unequivocal support for his re-election.
Isaac is a leader whose integrity, discernment, and unwavering commitment to our community consistently rise above the moment. Throughout the past year, he has hosted numerous information/discussion evenings to hear the needs of the public and gain perspective.
He has knocked on doors to listen to community concerns. He consistently works to bring the voices of people most affected by decisions to the table.
One of Isaacs’s top priorities has been fiscal responsibility and commitment to lowering our taxes and plan for a future we can afford. Recently, he introduced a motion that passed to reduce the number of new staff positions in our upcoming budget, addressing the issue of affordability. In the past year he made motions that passed 5-0 for financial planning and commitment to replenishing reserves.
I’ve appreciated Isaac’s calm demeanor in the heat of intense discussions during Selectboard meetings. I’ve witnessed him bring back the focus and order with respect while still addressing controversial topics.
Isaac has demonstrated these qualities over and over during his year in office. I have the utmost faith that he will continue to represent the needs of our community and make decisions that will strengthen our town for generations to come.
