Gray: follows in the tradition of great Vermont lawmakers

BRATTLEBORO-Molly Gray reminds me a great deal of Jack Daly (1923-2000).

Jack was raised in Rutland, and he was elected lieutenant governor in 1964 and reelected in 1966. He served his two terms under Gov. Philip H. Hoff and was a partner of Hoff's in the reforms instituted in that era.

Like Jack, Molly has a sound understanding of our Vermont ways and our history. And like Jack, she has an infectious love for the people of Vermont which is evident in all of her encounters with Vermonters.

We support Molly for lieutenant governor and hope that you do, also. She will serve us well as presiding officer in the Senate and will fight for the values we hold dear in the tradition of that other great Vermont lieutenant governor, Jack Daly.
