MARLBORO-I had the opportunity to meet Aly Richards on June 28 with a small group of community members in Marlboro.
Besides being a dynamic speaker, she impressed us with the depth of her understanding of every issue that our tough crowd put before her. She not only clearly identified problems but offered practical, informed solutions to them.
Don’t be fooled by the label “progressive” embraced by the other candidate. We love progressive ideas, but they need to be backed by practical solutions, and it is clear that Aly has the experience to deliver these.
She has been successful making Vermont a leader in early childhood programming and can bring that experience to make Vermont a model for the nation in healthcare, education, housing, and more. Go see her for yourself and I’m sure you’ll agree! Check her website for in-person appearances.
Remember to vote for Aly in the primary on Tuesday, Aug. 11, or vote now by going to your town clerk’s office and then again in the general election in November.
